A Sacred Surrender

Proverbs 16:3 — “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

In our pursuit of purpose and productivity, it's easy to slip into a rhythm where we seek God’s stamp of approval after setting the agenda. But the invitation in Proverbs 16:3 is deeper—an invitation not to merely include God, but to entrust every detail to Him from the very beginning.

When we surrender our plans, we make space for divine rearrangement. It’s no longer about asking, “God, will You bless this?” but rather, “God, is this what You’re building?” True commitment isn't passive—it’s an active release of control paired with a quiet trust in His better blueprint. This surrender doesn’t strip us of vision; it anchors our vision in something eternal.

Think of each task, conversation, or goal today as an offering. Lay it down not to abandon it, but so it can be lifted higher than you could imagine on your own.

What’s one task today you can fully hand over before diving in?

Let it go—not with resignation, but with reverence.
