Gratitude for Small Wonders

. God has always delighted in meeting His people through small wonders.

A Quiet Invitation to Notice
Gratitude is something we learn to notice
the warmth of a mug in your hands
a breeze that carries the scent of spring
a friend who texts at just the right moment
the way sunlight lands on the floor like a quiet blessing
These are reminders that God is attentive in how He cares for us.
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
This verse is an invitation to look for God’s fingerprints in the ordinary moments of the day He handcrafted for you.
When Life Feels Too Heavy for Gratitude
Sometimes gratitude feels impossible. When your heart is tired, noticing small wonders can feel like lifting something too heavy.
A Practice for Today
Take a slow breath and name three small wonders around you right now.
Not big miracles.
Not life-changing events.
Lord, open my eyes to the small wonders You scatter through my day. Teach my heart to pause, to notice, and to give thanks. Let gratitude soften the hard places in me and awaken joy where I thought joy was gone. Amen.
