“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

There are days when the weight of life feels heavier than usual. The to‑do list grows, the unexpected interrupts, and our hearts feel stretched thin. Weariness doesn’t always come from one big moment, often it’s the slow drip of daily demands that leaves us feeling depleted.
But God never intended for us to carry our burdens alone.
Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11:28 is not a suggestion; it’s a promise. He sees the exhaustion we try to hide. He notices the quiet sighs, the momentwhen we push through even though our strength is fading. And He gently calls us to Himself.
Rest in His presence
. Rest in His strength.
Rest in His unchanging love.
When our energy fails, His does not. When our motivation wavers, His faithfulness remains steady. When we feel like we have nothing left to offer, He reminds us that His power is made perfect in weakness.
You don’t have to be strong all the time.
You just have to stay close to the One who is.
. Whisper a simple prayer. Pause long enough to remember that God is with you, for you, and strengthening you even now.
Father, on the days when I feel worn down and stretched thin, draw me close. Remind me that Your strength is enough for every moment I face. Fill my heart with Your peace and renew my spirit with Your presence. Help me lean on You instead of my own strength. Amen.
