“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:

7
Stress settles into the body long before we notice it in our minds. Tight shoulders, shallow breaths and clenched jaws. Today’s devotion invites you to release what you’ve been holding and make space for God to renew you.
Release Through Gentle Movement
Wherever you are, seated, standing, or lying down, take a slow breath in. As you exhale, imagine letting go of one small weight you’ve been carrying. Roll your shoulders. Stretch your hands. Unclench your jaw. These tiny movements become a prayer of surrender:
“God, I release what is not mine to hold.”
Renew Through Prayer
Close your eyes and breathe deeply.
Let this simple prayer rise within you:
“God,
Loosen what is tight.
Quiet what is loud.
Fill me with Your steady, gentle presence.”
Stay here for a few breaths.
Let God’s care wash over you.
Reflection
What tension have you been carrying without realizing it?
How might your body be inviting you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with God?
What would renewal look like for you today?
